Diamondback Ruby (DRuby) is an extension to Ruby that aims to bring the benefits of static typing to Ruby without compromising the expressiveness of the language.

Ruby を型付けするらしい。OCaml で書いてある。一部 dynamic typing。Static と dynamic のバランスが評価のしどころだけど、俺 Ruby 書かないからよくわからん。Runtime check 減って Ruby が早くなる？といいね。

ocamljs の詳報。Functional reactive programming と組み合わせるそうです。うーん流行ってきたなぁ reactive。ウチの会社も公開してないけど自前のがありますよ。誰か強力な決定版をバァーンと公開して de facto 化 => 統一してほしい。

Cocoa と OCaml ちゃんとリンクしてGUIが動いているみたいに見える。どうやったのかな？ iPhone で OCaml は動いたから次は GUI を書けたらうれしいんだけど。
